YOUR ACTIONS PROVIDE THE LESSONS, THE LEGACY
What was your childhood like?
That may be a triggering question for a lot of us…
I feel very, very, very lucky to have been born to two parents that were conscious about the example they set
Mum and Dad - they’re not brain surgeons
But they understood that what they DID
Was far more important than what they SAID

The work ethic that I have is a product of his example
Long, slogging days, out in the elements working
He’d come home filthy dirty, and sit and eat dinner with his family every night

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩, 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤
The love and care that I have is a product of her example
Driving us round to sporting practice,
Trying to figure out maths homework haha!
Waiting up on the couch until 2am Saturday morning, hoping my brother would come home in one piece from his Friday night out

Trying to figure it all out on the fly…
Thinking in advance about the legacy I leave,
Being conscious of what I DO
Hoping my daughter takes two lessons from me…
That you can do anything you desire if you go after it
That love is the world’s strongest force
