WHEN SH1T GOES WRONG!

Here’s a pic of me in the process of losing it earlier today⁣

I had a scheduled Q and A ⁣

My internet broke⁣

I couldn’t stream⁣

And I felt like I was letting my clients down⁣

Seems insignificant? Sure⁣

But I’ve got high expectations and when I can’t meet them, ⁣

I fume…⁣

𝗪𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬? 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮?⁣

Well, in the pursuit of being less reactive, ⁣

I think many of us men misunderstand the point⁣

Having a normal human reaction of being pissed off ⁣

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥… ⁣

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘧? ⁣

What’s the next action? ⁣

Is it self-sabotage? ⁣

𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 –⁣

I feel stressed, so I drink, so that I don’t feel that anymore⁣

I feel emotional, so I binge, so that I don’t feel that anymore⁣

I feel angry, so I punch things… nothing good to come of that…⁣

Part of a man’s transformation is becoming less reactive⁣

After I cooled down, I just got back to work⁣

Controlled what I could,⁣

Move on…⁣

Remember mate, it’s not about stopping the natural response you have⁣

That’s almost impossible⁣

But managing what you do, seems far more important⁣
